3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for); our legitimate interests (to improve, secure, and operate the Service); your consent (where required, for example certain cookies or marketing); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service, including AI model providers, our payment processor (Creem), authentication providers (such as Google), hosting, and analytics providers, under agreements that limit their use of your data.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ERAS, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy or notify you.

Public content: if you post to a public feed or comment, that content and your display name may be visible to other users. Do not post anything you wish to keep private.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 8. Some information may be retained in backups or where retention is legally required.
